Even in "retirement" many of our Silver Shepherds continue to use their experiences and gifts to serve the Lord and ease the work loads of parish priests. Others are unable to be as active, but are dedicated to prayer for the reconciliation of souls. Through the Priest's Welfare Trust, our diocese ensures that these faithful men receive a comfortable and dignified retirement. Whether living at home or in a group setting, our retired priests benefit from this Trust which provides their monthly pension benefit and a Continuum of Care for long-term needs.
